James has been responsible for Engauge’s software development since the parent company’s inception. He combines his almost uncanny understanding of user needs with his strong technical ability to create of a set of assessment tools which are not only spectacularly effective, but mercifully easy to use! These elements have helped us build a loyal and diverse group of customers, who have continued to trust for many years.

James received his PhD in Statistics from the Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Durham in 1992, where he spent 3 years “Looking for Nothing” using Bayes linear methods for solving equations.
