What was your highlight this year?

Cliche though it is, you can’t fault the quote, “Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.”

So often we get hijacked by financial worries, by mundane tasks that seem important but aren’t, or by worrying about small things that are really not significant. Instead, think back on the last couple of years and remember the things that made you smile. In particular, what made you proud of yourself, and what constribution did you make to others.

Some of the most satisfying work we do in our lives is that which involves us in being part of something greater than ourselves. Its what makes us content and gives our lives meaning.

So ask yourself: what was the highlight of your past year and in particular, what actions and involvements gave you most satisfaction?
