We found this online tool which we find useful (and think you will too). It’s one that is in the group that just make work easier. It’s deceptively simple – but fabulously useful.
We like online tools that are simple to use. We’ve built that into our 360 feedback and employee survey solutions. What’s the point of having something with so many bells and whistles that people are likely to have anxiety attacks working out what to do next? We believe busy people want things to be clear, straightforward and easy to use. That’s always worked for us.
So here’s our online tool of choice. It’s one I use when I want to set a date and I want to find out which date can be made by the majority of the people invited. Meet-o-matic is fabulous. It’s free. It’s so incredibly easy you can’t possibly make a mistake. And it does exactly what it claims to do.
Give your meeting a name, enter your email address and then select the dates you could make. Once that’s done, you’re almost there. Really. It’s that quick. Having hit the ‘Book Now’ button, you’ve got the ball rolling. You’ll get an email containing a url that you’ll forward to everyone who is invited. You’ll get another email with a URL that you can use to see who has replied. That’s the whole deal.
When your mail arrives, the lucky, lucky souls you have invited to your hot, happening, not-to-be-missed meeting just need to click the link, enter their name, and tick any of the proposed dates that they can make. Meet-o-matic keeps track of the date that the highest number of people can make. When you think enough time has elapsed to get responses from everyone, you can log in to get the meet-o-matic recommended date, and mail it out.
Could not be simpler. If you know of an easier online tool to do this, please let us know.
