Kier group wins National Training Award

We’ve been working with Kier Group for four years now and we were over the moon to be invited to join them at the regional National Training Awards event for the East of England on September 25th. The fact that they received a regional and then went on to win the national award for their Executive Leadership Programme was cause for major celebration as far as we’re concerned. We really enjoy working on providing 360-degree feedback for training team at Kier, so it was fantastic to see their success given public recognition.

We’ve been providing their 360-degree feedback for this programme since it inception. They’re a great company to work with – we’ve got to know some of the people in their training department quite well and we love having conversations with them.

So, when we got to share their pleasure in this prestigious national acknowledgement, it made me think: If we’re grinning like the proverbial cheshire cat every time we talk about Kier’s award, how much more motivating is it for those who are directly involved. Makes you realise how powerful it is when employees’ efforts and achievements are recognised.

So, how do you acknowledge the achievements of your team? And do you recognise the signs of a truly exceptional project? Is there a piece of work you could enter for an award? At the very least, you’ll learn a lot in the process and your team will enjoy working on it together. And you never know; you may just be in the same position at Kier Group and be winners.

In fact, we’re so proud to have been able to supply the 360-degree feedback for Kier’s Executive Leadership Programme, we’ve re-published their case study from the National Training Awards event.
