We’ve welcomed a new author to the new blog ‘The 360 degree on 360 feedback‘. Dr Jeremy Payne is a partner at Obsidian Consulting and we’re thrilled to have his voice of experience contributing to this resource on 360 feedback.
His first article: Introducing 360 feedback to your organisation – keys to success provides a valuable list of principles as a guideline for creating a powerful 360 degree feedback programme, and getting it adopted within an organisation. I have read some articles recently which, although written by people who should know better, provide advice which suggests that confidentiality shouldn’t be necessary and provides advice which could create a culture in which 360 feedback could be badly mis-managed. In my view, Jeremy’s list provides the foundation for an ideal programme.
