We live, eat and breathe 360-degree feedback. It’s what we do all day. After all, we’re the experts and that’s what it means to be an expert. We are huge advocates of this tool. We believe, if done well, it can be one of the most powerful and effective types of feedback you can get. And we make it our mission to provide the best 360-degree feedback service on the market.
But that doesn’t mean we’ll be bombarding you with daily posts on minute aspects of 360-degree feedback, and nothing else. We’ve read blogs that do that, and that’s just not us.
It’s much more interesting to look at why companies choose to use 360-degree feedback. They do it to help their business performance. So we decided some time ago that this blog should be about ways in which you can help you improve your core skills. Our focus is on technology (online tools) and people (how they can perform better at work).
Our ideal readers are people who want to be better business managers, either as HR function managers, or consultants. And we write about a number of ways in which they can do that.
What you’ll read in our blog?
It’s widely acknowledged that a change of scene improves our ability to work and to relax. A bland diet of food that all tastes the same will simply blunt your appetite. Diversity doesn’t only apply to the people we employ – it’s also about what we think about and seeing things from a different perspective. Why not apply the same wisdom to our reading material? It just makes sense.
So we write about engaging people at work, about great online tools and resources that help you manage your business better, and about the Highlands Ability Battery. We publish People Alchemy‘s weekly tips for managers. And once in a while, we’ll write a piece about 360-degree feedback here or on The 360 on 360 blog.
