It is with great sadness that we heard of the sudden death of Clive Thomas. A past Chairman of the Suffolk Branch of the Institute of Directors, and founder of Anglia Recruitment, Clive really knew the value of people. His pride in his team was palpable. He constantly promoted others, highlighting their talents and strengths.
For many years Clive worked tirelessly for local charities, pioneering the James Bond Premiers in Suffolk in support of the East Anglian Air Ambulance.
We were privileged to have counted Clive as a friend. He was kind enough to play a role in the 2007 Cambridge HR Summit, introducing all the speakers with his customary charm and ease. In December 2008, we interviewed Clive for this blog. We will miss him.
Our thoughts are with his wife and colleagues.
