Throughout history, knowledge has been a key survival strategy. In primitive times, knowing what was plant was edible, where to find water and how to hunt for food were essential lessons. The environment may be different, but the imperative to learn, grown and stretch to ensure survival is no less important.
Here are some questions that may help you think about essential knowledge:
- Where do you get your best ideas?
- What has helped you succeed?
- What knowledge have you shared today?
- What have you learned today? Last week? This year?
[Tip: exercising your the left and right hemispheres of your brain will help you think more creatively. If you spend most of your time working with facts, data, formulae, and other logical disciplines - make sure you spend some on artistic, creative, free-flowing activities. Try painting, sketching, dancing or martial arts.]
